* Your current single “Look In My Eyes” is climbing up active rock radio charts. Before you guys release a single, do you ever have any expectations for how well you want it to do?
Jeff: To be honest this is our first time doing a full push behind a single release so we weren’t quite sure what to expect. We’re very happy with the way things are going though!!!

* What do you feel is the most important message that your music delivers to your fans?
Jeff: Honesty. Every song on the record is a story that came from my actual life experiences. I think people need that kind of music right now. A lot of bands are putting out songs about drinking or partying or drugs and etc. I think people are a little tired of that kind of thing and are looking for more substance in their music.

* You are currently on your first major national tour with Five Finger Death Punch. How does this particular tour compare to previous shows the band has played?
Jeff: This is by far the biggest tour we’ve done. We’ve done a ton of touring but it’s mostly been club tours. It’s pretty mind blowing to be playing arenas like we are on this tour!

* What comforts from home have you guys found that you miss the most?
Jeff: Our families 100%. That’s the hardest part about touring, no matter what band you are.

* Your current tour schedule takes you into mid-to-late December. Do you have plans to tour after the new year begins?
Jeff: We’re hoping to have something confirmed ASAP but yes there are some things in the works.

* You are going to be performing live over a webcast soon. Is this going to be the first time the band plays via internet stream?
Jeff: We actually did a live webcast earlier in the tour so no this won’t be our first time. It always ups the anxiety level each time we’re broadcast though:)

* Your current record, Stories, was released in 2010. Do you have plans to step back into the studio soon to release a follow up?
Jeff: We’ll be promoting Stories for a while yet but I’m hoping to get into the studio ASAP to work on the new record.

* If someone hasn’t listened to your band, which song would you recommend for them to check out first?
Jeff: I would say our current single “Look In My Eyes.”

* If you could pick one song that could be the soundtrack to your fall/winter, what one song would that be?
Jeff: My favorite song of all time and lifetime soundtrack is In The Air Tonight by Phil Collins.

* If you could change one thing about the music scene today, what would it be?
Jeff: The level of politics involved to get things done. I’m extremely happy with our position in the music scene right now however so that more applies to other up and coming bands.
