The shift into spring and summer calls for a bumper crop of amazing bands to catch our attention, and the infectious poppy flair of Omaha’s Twinsmith has done just that. Their hook laden rock a la Tapes N Tapes and Smith Westerns had us smitten from the start. And we’re not the only ones – they’ve earned the term ‘critical darlings’ with a great reception at SXSW and rotation on NPR’s All Songs Considered. Their new album Alligator Years is out May 4th on Saddle Creek and they are currently touring the US. Check out some songs from the new album here.
