* You did a vocal contest, prior to Idol, so did that have any touring attached to it?
Allison:
No.

* So it was just singing?
Allison:
Well, I mean, people thought, “Oh she had a contract. That’s not fair. She shouldn’t be on Idol.” I didn’t do anything. I didn’t record. I didn’t do anything. I just got the money and that was it. There was nothing attached to it.

* So this has been your first taste of touring?
Allison:
This has been my first taste of–yeah.

* Do you love it?
Allison:
I love it. I want to live on the road.

* What’s the living situation been like on the bus?
Allison:
For me, I haven’t really been able to sleep on the bus. I’ll watch a movie or something–it’s like 4 A.M.–and I just can’t sleep in the bunk. So, no sleeping for me in the bunk. Not so comfortable.

* Have you guys…pretty often?
Allison:
No. I mean, the girls bus is probably the best bus out of all of the other buses because it’s just three girls, and then three other girls from crew, and the guys bus is like all packed up with seven guys and three other dudes.

* If you could think back in ten years about all of the experiences you’ve had this summer, what one song would remind you of it?
Allison:
Oh, man. That’s a hard one. What one song would remind me of this summer? Um, it would be “Sex On Fire” by Kings of Leon. (laughs) I know it’s weird, but with Hollywood Week, they were just burning that song over and over again. Like, I would just wake up to my alarm clock and that song would just come on. If I listen to that song, it would just take me back.

* It’s a good song though.
Allison:
It is! It’s a great song.

* Last question for you. What would you like to say to all of the people that have been supporting you?
Allison:
I’d like to say thank you so much. I mean, I’m not going to stop saying, “thank you.” You know? It’s pretty much, “thank you, thank you, thank you.” I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for the people that voted. So, thank you.
